A Typical Day

I wake every day at 715 To the sound of my neighbors dog barking Everyday the same bark, bark, bark But at least I dont need to set my alarm I drag my feet to the shower every morning Just to look good while sitting in rush hour, Have you ever found a spot close to school at 8 in the morning? Me either..... You might as well call the hallways midtown Because it has everything: pushing, loud noises and too many people But seems to lack the social order While I admire from a far, just wanting to go home 45 minutes a period they said Ha!! Biggest lie I've heard this week Might as well be an eternity in most classes, Math, have you ever had math for the hour? There's no escape from the madness Unless you are among the lucky few, Who have holes in their schedules Or a parent to write you a note Bell rings, and I'm on my way To endure the real world and all it's entities Traffic, accidents, bad drivers and over zealous pedestrians Did I mention I have homework, yea calc homework, Good old calc homework Homework the only thing that reminds me I'm still a student Until I get home and plop on the couch to watch tv, Did I mention I had homework? Yea, homework, what is homework? Remind me, I've seemed to forgotten.
