Try to shut me up
What I know is the one thing you can’t take. I am the stone behind the bush that saw your face, rushing through our home, with guns and tanks and small minds that put aside our country’s beauty for lack of space
Try to shut me up
Because unlike the outsiders that only see the information you place, I saw first hand the struggle you make us face and the lies you spread to cover up the reasons behind all the dead bodies and they complain that we kill them with stones…(short laugh) poor them with the weapons and the powers and unlimited hours to torture 6,862 Palestinians but ohh We’re the lucky ones ...right?
We’ve killed 1,109 of them but I’m not the comparing man, the kind that thinks the number of deaths is what should set up the plan but yall don’t understand, it ain’t about how many die but why. Every night I lay and I pray. Not to win the war but to let our fight be ignored no more
Try to shut me up
While I talk about the cowardness you display by not officially declaring war on your prey
No...you’d rather we suffer waiting for the day when our final acre of land gets stolen away
Try to shut me up
See as a child, I felt bad for Israelis.Getting passed that and this way, never really finding their own place to stay. I think I once asked my father, “Well why don’t we just share?” Whereas he replied, “They never asked, they never cared”. Okay...I understand those bullied become bullies that crave greed to oppress and take and take lunch money while they pound weak, vulnerable chests but this ain’t about two dollars and fifty cents. Its about culture, background, history, people, an entire nation, and respect
In their minds, the land we protect is a project and they connect to reflect how they can dissect our lives enough to make us run away and they expect that we can’t detect their indirect and direct slaughter for their own nation. The first step being the West Bank Barrier they built for separation and with the wall came proof that we can’t play nice and share like care bears
Try to shut me up
You killers of my economy. You destroyers of 27,000 homes. Even as you hold our land, your grip slips from the olive trees planted with our souls and the inhabitants glazed in modesty like krispy kreme and ironically, Our culture promotes welcoming needy strangers into our homes.
Try to shut me up
As I explain my pity for you. Who are always oh so close getting the hot, caramel soil but no dice. For our sweet weather and secret pleasures comes to only the nice. You entered the gates of our heaven, but your sins way you down with patrick and sandy, always keeping your fish bowl handy so you could (breath in) breath in air...because we all know you don’t belong there
Try to shut me up
(short laugh) see if I care
