Ugly

Ugly as the mirror fragments sealed.in a mask upon my face No, Ugly Like the shattered remains of a broken moon admist a nighttime eclipse No more No, Ugly As in cracked nails peeling flesh from scarlet veins No, Ugly As in pus fillex boils in the midst of gang green No, Ugly Because I would rip the skin from another wear it to be seen as not such No more. This body cannot take more as its insides harden and hollow and is nothing but an animation No more As unshed tears burn the back of my throat No, Ugly As in when I look in the mirror I don't see beauty.
