Ugly Mass of A Being
Why do you look at me like that?
Do you think you are better than me?
You stare as if to scorn.
You scuff as if to say,
"You ugly mass of a being."
Your Chanel purse fits perfectly
Into your small, perfectly manicured hands.
That dress is like skin
Emphasizing your perfect figure.
Your face seems untouched and unscarred
By the curse of adolescent acne
Your beauty is not because of,
But enhanced by the makeup you wear.
Your long, slender legs
Seem to reach miles infront of you
As you walk swiflty past me
To avoid my touch, my smell,
My presence.
I am ugly to you.
You fail to see however
The ugliness that overpowers you beauty.
You are full of scars and flaws
In your character.
The dress, the shoes, the purse,
The makeup, the hair
Is nothing
Without a positive character.
So who is ugly?
It is you.
You ugly mass of a being.
