Ugly Truth

It's easier to fool yourself than face reality.

People bash on society to hide the truth.

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"

It's a bunch of bullshit

People running their mouths saying there is beauty in everything...

But the reality is that there is ugly in the world.

More ugly than any of us want,

There is very little beauty.

And sure, we blame it on society like we always do,

But it solves nothing.

We only prolong the truth because people are to afraid to face the facts...

We can't move foward because they're afraid... we're afraid...

And that is the ugly truth.

I'm an introvert with a lot on mind and no one to say it to. A lot of my poems/free writes/rants are some of my original posts from an anonymous app. I'm here to vent; this is my therapy. *Disclaimer* All works of art I use are not my own. I hold no claim to them.
