Ultimate Beauty
I don't see your back-roll muffins or love-shaped handles,
I don't see your buckteeth or misshapen lips,
I don't see how you hide yourself in worldly limits
I don't see your broken-out face or dry skin,
I don't see your frizzy, greasy, tangled hair,
I don't look through the lenses of a judgmental mindset
I don't see your thunder-thighs or the junk in your trunk,
I don't see your caveman feet or prickly legs,
I don't see how a single soul that can be labeled ugly
I don't see your so-called deformities,
I don't see your disproportionate body,
I don't see your faults, mistakes, or accidents
However, as much as society may disagree,
I refuse to bow my knee to conformity
I see a spirit as free as the wind,
I see a God who loves you unconditionally,
I see a gorgeous reflection of a blueprint made by Him
All I see is beauty,
All I see is unique,
All I see is you... and simply you
Only love can break unberrable chains
Only love can change unforgotten struggle
Only love sees ultimate beauty
