The Ultimate Gift

He desired The Ultimate Gift.
Not anything materialistic
yet something incredibly wholistic.
He was given this present before
when he was born
but it was broken,
weak.
So he was too,
"a freak."
No one understood what he could do,
not even him,
with his broken heart.
Endless repair placed him on the list.
Each one,
a near miss.
Each one,
with the hope that he just might
He was given eighteen years of The Ultimate Gift,
Life.
