The Ultimate Shock

Administration claims to be unbiased,

“Everyone will succeed.”

That may be true;

But, not by the likes of you.

And the Award goes to,

We mutter a name under our breath.

Surprise, Surprise,

Same one again.

All you are doing is putting us down,

Making us jealous,

Crushing our dreams.

On graduation day,

“The Principal award goes to.”

I never mattered how hard I tried,

The work I put in,

How well I behaved.

The same name is announced.

And none but one cheer.
