Umbilical cord cut
It began it died, the story I had deep inside
It Developed inside my mind growing, pulsing, consuming
becoming what it never could be
I let you soar free
It was foolish of me, when I let everything rot,
The umbilical cord cut
When I stopped thinking of him,
You died inside of me
A fool i had been to leave this plan
The life I had was taken be the guilt of a man.
Every day I think of you, how you’d never come to be
But I’m stronger now, stronger you’ll see
Because I have to courage
The courage to set you free
