Un-Beautiful
She was young, skinny and falling in love
Her clothes fit her right like a taloried glove
Making her confident with every step she took
Knowing that when she passed by she would get all the looks
Her body was like an hourglass
And that gave her all the sass
Her mind was right and her body was healthy
To many, that alone would make her wealthy
Then came along her significant other
Who made her feel like a wonderful lover
He made her feel happy and their love grew stronger
Until they couldn't take it any longer
They eloped and were happy
But little did she know things were about to get sappy,
Everything was starting to change
She realized nothing would ever be the same.
Depression struck her really hard
The thoughts in her head seemed to bombard
The anxiety just got worse
To the point where her thoughts would lead to her in a hearse
She quit her job to start a new one
But then soon realized that she was done,
Done with the public and done with herself
So she locked up everything up and put it on a shelf
She's slowly slipping into a doward spiral
Hoping to lean on her bible
She no longer takes care of her body
She no longer feels like a hottie
The clothes she wears are two sizes bigger
So no one can see and make fun of her figure
Her hair is always up and never brushed
Her feelings have been crushed
She feels so lost all the time
Her body feels like grime
She barely showers because she doesn't care
She's made her home feel like it's her lair
She keeps the blinds closed because the darkness is her only friend
But she has hope that this chapter is close to the end
She wants things to go back as ususal
She wants to stop feeling un-beautiful
