Unanswered Questions- A poem about being adopted
To neither understand nor be understood.
To know, but not know everything.
To live, but not live in a complete state.
To be a part of something, but be separate.
All of this, all at once,
Every single day.
You wonder where they are,
What they're doing,
Who they are.
Do they think about you?
Do they miss you?
These questions,
These unanswered questions,
They haunt you,
They taunt you,
And they continue to go unanswered.
