An Unattainable Existence
I once read a quote, which spoke the most intricate of words, plainly written and simply stated, but somehow unattainable to comprise.
It was short and simple, but long and distant.
It made me question its existence.
Because for me, my presence to others was questionable, and yet the quote still held much meaning to me.
I decided to figure out why.
Why, I find the quote to be worth my time.
I kept the quote close to heart and began to search for this unattainable existence of which I read.
I looked around for it one day and surprisingly, I found it in many places, sown together with many colorful laces.
Sometimes I could see it in plain sight, while other times it was hidden within fifty shades of night.
It sometimes lay high, while other times it creeps low, while pursuing its lucky victim.
This unattainable existence was sometimes shallow and other times it was whole and true.
But, nonetheless, I found it everywhere I looked, for it took on the lives of many hearts.
What I found was something I didn’t expect.
It was in everyone’s lives.
It was even in mine.
I found what makes the heart whole and without it we are just an empty soul.
I think that’s what keeps me in high hopes when I feel down.
I may be sad at times and probably you too, but if you just stop to look around you, you’ll find that it’s staring at you.
Things hide in plain sight, you just need the right eyes to find it.
Once you know what you’re looking for you’ll find it.
You’ll find that, “love is all around you, but sometimes it’s hard to find, you just have to take that extra step to see it, but it’s there, always.”
Although it stays as an unexplained manifestation in the hearts of many, in all different shades, it is around.
But yet it’s never been seen with the human eyes.
I guess it will just endure, furthermore, in the lives of many.
We will never know what it really is that holds us together, for it will always remain, as this unattainable existence, indefinitely, without explanation.
But, sometimes things that are indefinite don’t need to be explained for you to understand.
For you already understand what it is, to you.
Everyone experiences things differently.
So, hold on to what love is to you.
