Unbecoming

powerful pounding in my heart

knowing what is missing

wondering how i wasnt so smart

maybe she's forgiving

one thought running wild in my head

where could the necklace be

would it be better left unsaid

shall I just quickly flee

gone for hours, came back with nothing

unsuccessful searching

it is turning unbecoming

feeling disconcerting

hard labor along with long hours

continous drudgery

with one overwhelming desire

for one discovery
