Unbothered Dandelions

A dandelion dances in the wind,

Unwanted.

Unloved.

Unbothered.

It soaks in the sun,

And repels disdain like excess rain.

When stepped on,

It stands up taller.

When severed,

It grows back stronger.

And when finally it dies,

It spreads its strength with seeds,

And fifty more take its place.
