The Unbreakable

The cold breeze is now uneased,

Leafs in a constant flux go from yellow to green.

Between the metamorphosis of seas,

I began to feel seventeen.

The allotment given to dream will never suffice,

Those years of soft embraces will now depart.

With just one touch it all changes in a trice.

Now I am just a lonely heart.

The summer has been quite kind,

Taking the time to color the world all around.

But it’s time to leave it all behind,

And embrace the woman I’ve become.
