Unbridled Comes The Night

Unbridled comes the night Dark and deep like caverns steep Oh, how obscure is my fright The drum in my chest I keep Steady like a winter’s snow fall Yet darkness makes my skin recoil Windows once opened nice and tall Now read with a sudden toil A black abyss of nightmares Hands grasping for a victim Leaves one praying for a fun-fair But alas, I yell a dictum Against the unbridled night In my hopes to gain the light
