Unbroken

I was sold for a pack of cigarettes when I was only two At that age there was nothing I could say or do At the age of five I was raped by my dad's best friends son A week later my dad killed him and his story was done At the age of 8 I was sodomized and shamed He told me if I told he would kill my family and I would be blamed At 15 me and my best friend were taken from the side of the road by a man 2 months later I found a way to escape that's where the hell began At 16 I was kidnapped and raped by 4 men The police didn't believe me because I couldn't remember everything or how it happened to me again At 31 I was stabbed through my lung and heart That was the day my life fell apart I died for over 9 minutes and came back to life Sometimes i wonder why i wasnt killed by that knife For the last ten years my life has been hell The guy that did this only got 7 months in jail I live with the sickness from what he had done God why do i always have to suffer why am i the one Everyone says we go through what we can take I'm a stronger woman from this for goodness sake Life seems so unfair I am now so broken While all these awful people are happy and outspoken I will never say I cant take anymore Everytime I say these words my life becomes an uproar I beg and I plea for God to set me free All I want in my life is to be happy
