Unbroken and Restored

Constantly agitated

At the ignorance of the World.

Offered a way to leave

But I have to face my truth

The truth is…

I am a tough,independent, confident black girl

How did I get to this point?

Having a broken father.

Constant drinking and slight drugs.

My mother a new single parent

Doing her damn best.

Hell, I am turning into a model adult.

What the hell does my sperm donating daddy, know about raising kids?

He doesn’t know anything.

His truth is he is a selfish alcoholic destined to fail.

Negligent, careless, preoccupied..

Being the only child

Growing up fast

Feeling obligated to hold my tears.

Doing things when you look back at I would have changed.

My truth is…

I am a hurt black girl resorted by Christ’s Love.

Having Faith in God, He is my Father.

He will NEVER leave me or forsake me,

Forgive your biological father….He doesn’t know better.

I don’t give a flying ass fish.

He is grown

I forgive him already.

Knowing that my dad does not love me.

Except himself.

Doesn’t affect this smart braniac.

I am untouchable Predicre.

Righteous and Redeemed.

You get to a breaking point in your mind.

Of how much sh** you’re going to take.

I reached it.

And I’m at peace.

I call on my real Father, Jesus Christ.

My truth is I am wonderfully made with NO exceptions.
