Uncanny love

Sitting at the table, I wonderd what brought you here?

I wonder how you got here?

Was it the the fragrance of my colougene or the way I carried myself,

or a bachloer sitting there all alone?

I looked up from what was on my plate knowing

I've made a terrible mistake, are eye-contact

seem to trouble me thinking you'll get up and walk to me.

Or was I fool to fall for you the first time I saw you,

how such feelings could be arosed at that point and time.

How this feeling was to good to be true - if I got up and walk to you,

even though I might stumble and make a fool out of myself

that troubles me you see.

Seeing someone as beautiful as you didn't mean that much to me.

Until,  I sat down next to you and gather small talk

was just reality in the moment of our chemistry just clicked,

how we became one that was something that was far off

but not that quick, has become part of you.

That made me come to you.
