Uncertain

people don't really understand

your life and what you go through.

you can tell them,

exactly what happened

and they're still uncertain.

no one knows how you feel

when your grandmother is diagnosed,

with breast cancer

or when you grow up without a father figure

and end up suffering

with seperation anxiety at the age of nine.

but maybe you learned,

how to deal with things

even when they are at the worst.

maybe you learned,

to not take things for granted

and you can lose someone

faster than you can fail a math test.

but they're still uncertain.
