To an Uncertain Future

Dear Future Me,

We will never meet face to face.

Yet nobody will ever be closer than us.

Our actions might seem inexplainable to each other,

But I often wonder about you.

What will you be?

The possibilities are endless.

Will I be proud?

Disappointed?

Filled with burdens and hopes,

I look forward to each day.

Sincerely,

Amy
