Uncertainty

You came into my life so clear, so bright while others passed by, you chose to stay waited out the ride slowly peering out inch by inch slowly creeping out exposing more and more I am greeted by welcoming eyes and a generous smile Even though I've only allowed just a peek out, I don't lose hope I can't lose hope not yet It's such a foreign feeling having someone there patiently waiting, waiting for me to open my heart I just hope ...I just hope I was worth the wait
