Uncertainty

1 Corinthians 9:25-26 New English Translation (NET Bible)

25 Each competitor must exercise self-control in everything. They do it to receive a perishable crown, but we an imperishable one.

26 So I do not run uncertainly or box like one who hits only air.

Uncertainty

Quivering lips and a little smile: trust is slowly building

Hearts finally at peace with the chosen one another

We’ve come a long way from so far from the beginning

Now with much in common as we love “The Same Father”

Hard to understand when becoming part of another

The Lord preplans destiny for the ones He chooses

“His Family” He forms as he brings us all together

“Children of all walks of life”: the fallen and the losers

Yes even an odd lot like we are, the despised of the world

Almost like a forgotten tribe blamed for all the balling

This world needs a scape-goat and we are so unfurled

Although we at times gripe as on Christ we’re calling
