Unconditional
I confess I'm a mess
Who deserves to treat you this way?
Piece by piece I'll undress the things i try to hide
From my only guide to live this life successfully
Worry free
Right along with me
Hand in hand
But here I stand neglecting thee
But what i have done has disgraced me
Broken me
And all the unnecessary hurt has seeped through the hole where he would have filled me
But I couldn't let him be
Oh i asked for trouble I begged for it
I gave it directions to me
I locked my spirit man up so he couldn't rescue me
From worldly things
I invited the enemy into my dreams
I let him him help me plan my evil schemes
While Jesus was knocking at my door
I did quiet dirty things
Drove my self to being as weak as a rose petal
And after all of that I hear my father
Weeping crying out to me
I Love You even now!
Without you having the smallest thought to turn away
If you ever decide to
I'm here to help you
And then a re-connection, a confession , a heart to heart
A turning away
And right when I least expected
an army of sin has bombarded me
Back to my knees again
But he's holding my hand
To pull me, push me back up again
Unconditionally forever with me
In every struggle I see
He stands in the gap for me
Just to fight for me
