“Because I love you…”
Under the guise of love,
Never should such a phrase be used.
Conditions to love could cause
Overtly volatile and
Negligent pairings.
Don’t let your brain chemicals deceive you with their responses to closeness.
Instead, know this;
True love isn’t shiny and polished with priceless
Imperfections like a rare gem,
Or manufactured like a poorly procured plaything for people to play with.
No. Love like that is sophomoric and naive.
All love should consist of is caring, consideration, and support on all fronts.
Love is—at its purest—just that:
Unconditional.
