unconditional

You say that sometimes the happy persona is an act,

I want you to know that you are completely worthy and

deserving of the love you emanate.

Your love changes people’s days,

How lucky I am to experience it daily.

You keep my mind in the present and sweep all the bad thoughts away,

They’ll come out another day.

I love the way you glow when talking about places you’d like to visit

I love your little pet peeves like mismatched socks,

And when you talk about  things you’d like to experience.

I love listening and quietly hoping I’ll be there to see you fulfill your goals too.
