Unconditional love.

Do you love me when i’m soundless and on my best behavior?

Do you need me when I can tender you with ease and protection?

Do you use me for fun, a good laugh, or a hug?

When I am alone; where are you?

When I need to talk; where do I find you?

Will you still love me when I have only my wisdom left?

Will you still love me if I tried a drug or became a smug?

I will love you when you forget my name.

I will love you when you no longer wish to speak of me.

I will love you when the days are dark and the rain is heavy

I will love you unconditionally.
