Unconditional Love

I look at him through the corner of my eye.

He stares solemly at a paper.

My heart clenches, for as the years go by

The bills become greater.

Though he never admits it

I know he cries at night.

But, though times are tough, these years we stayed unsplit.

It is because each day, our affection, we recite.

There is no other who I'd be beside,

He is the only one for me.

No rich man can provide

The love that he gives for free.

The love that we have is not fictional,

it will remain unconditional.
