Unconditional Love
I love you in your finest moments, I love you in your most helpless moments.
I know your strengths and I know your weaknesses, and I love you for each.
I realize that you aren’t perfect, and I embrace your imperfections.
You are beautiful in every way, every day.
I love you in private and I love you in public; I love you all the time.
I trust you, because I love you.
I let you have other friends, because I love you.
I allow you your freedom, because I love you.
But I also hold onto you, because I love you.
I still get jealous, because I love you.
I can’t dream of a life without you, and I won’t dream of a life without you.
There is no shame in saying “I love you”.
I always want you here, but I do not ever need you here.
You give me happiness, but you are not my only source of happiness.
We fight through our problems rather than fight over our problems.
We trust each other, love each other, and are happy with each other, because we love each other.
When I see you my heart races out of love and excitement, not out of fear.
I never want to disappoint you, but I do not live to please you.
I am your biggest fan, and your biggest critic.
I encourage every passion of yours, and will always support you,
Even when you can’t support yourself.
I will be your generator when you have a power outage,
Your umbrella in a storm,
And a fire extinguisher for when you burst into flames.
I will be there for you, and I know you’ll be there for me.
I trust you, as you trust me,
I am happy with you, as you are happy with me,
I love you, as you love me.
You are rain in a drought,
Food in starvation,
Happiness in depression.
You have taught me a new way to feel love,
Your laugh makes me feel like I’m flying,
Your smile gets me giddy.
It’s been years, but it’s only been a second,
Yet I’ve known you forever.
You confuse me in the best way.
I am good enough for you, and you are good enough for me,
We don’t have to prove ourselves to each other,
I love you, and you love me.
I know that you do not love me, simply because you can kiss me
You can kiss me, simply because you love me and I love you
I just can’t say it enough,
I love you!
