The Unconventional Superman

A foreigner in a far, strange land

A tower of scruples to forever stand

But behind the dark shadows, fear is close at hand

It's a bird! It's a plane!

It's Courageous!

Superman has passed a newer generation

Rediscovered emotion has swept the nation

The man of steel was tried and now found lacking much

Courage: fad of the alien's situation

We, free of the norm, the true masters of the earth

Our fear of the murky unknown creates a birth

A birth of many children who fear, yet press on,

But many brave souls rarely realize their self worth

People are different and can live with it, can you?

You push them down, but I think a lesson is due.

No matter how much they fall, UP they get again.

If no one is like you, aren't you different too?
