Undecided

Have you ever had that feeling
When you know you love someone
But then you turn around
And your brain and heart collide.
You want to love,
But your just not sure
Of all the things
That you loved one does
He can be crazy,
He can be good,
He can be your crutch,
Or be the broken arm.
So when I sit down to think
And decide for myself,
I must go through
Everything that has come to pass.
I moved to this small town
When I was five
I walked into the small church,
And met the tall jerk.
I must make it known
That I did not think highly
Of him for the first few years.
Then as time went by,
We became a lot closer.
We would laugh,
We would cry,
We would talk, and conspire
We then claimed each other
To be our closest friend.
Until the day he made his feelings known
And I to him.
I must admit that I have been in love with him for four years.
And now that I have him,
Everything has changed.
I don’t know why,
And I don’t know how.
All I know is that things aren’t the same.
Don’t get me wrong, I do love this boy.
But sometimes I have to think,
Am I really in love,
With a guy like this.
He embraces me every time we meet.
He holds me tight.
He makes it known ,
That I am his,
And he is mine.
But he can be sarcastic
Now this I do not like.
Although everyone has their faults,
This one I can not deny.
It is frustrating,
When I try to say something friendly,
Then he comes back with words
That make everything go very dimly.
