The world around me has not solely been my creation.
Although it spells out where I'm headed it does not determine my destination.
Because the world around me yells success is not obtainable.
But my environment though against me has made me more capable.
Trials, they are so inevitable
And obstacles are unavoidable
But the strength that I've acquired will soon prevail
Because my expectation for success sits on a higher scale
While those stuck in the situations I've once witnessed,
Stare at their current beings and can not vision success.
I choose to not accept, envision, or speak the word failure
I choose not to accept such kind of nature
It's something not understood something I can't comprehend.
Because a life in despair is something I refuse to spend.
And as I child of God I cannot be held back.
So instead of struggling here, I will surpass the slack.
Reach higher than my ancestors and I won't look back.
There's no reason why I can't walk my own track.
I'm not deemed a certain rode of failure
I can make it to success even if my parents couldn't make it there.
The world around me has not solely been my creation.
Because my world has set me up for poor like damnation
But instead of being held down
I chose to crawl out of such hole and reach the crown.
My problems has made me driven
My trials have given me somethin'
A certain mentality of success only a few can take
And this has given me fuel, in this game there are no breaks.
So I'm going to keep on striving till I reach the very top
Then look at everything and everyone that tried to make me stop
And laugh at the devil because he thought he could break me
He thought he could keep me down but I broke free.
You can let the world around you create who you will become.
But instead of letting it hold me back, it'll make me someone.
