Under construction

I just love how you stopped talking to me
Turned into the stranger you said you'd never be
Filling my head with all sorts of fantasies
Making me believe you actually meant every word you said to me
I can't believe I let you play me
But it's ok
Because you missed out on a good thang
You lost a genuine woman and you are to blame
Don't come crawling back to me in a year
Talking about I was caught up in the world but baby now I could see clear
You're all I want and need
Because I'm going to look at you and say boy please
My life has moved on
I've met someone new
And if it wasn't for your neglect
I wouldn't have gotten married too
See I told you you were losing a good thang
And my man saw it because he gave me his name
So to all y'all past and lost dudes trying to come for another chance
You should've thought about it when it was our time to dance.
