Under Pressure

Would you believe me if I told you I was fine?

Though you cannot hear the screams inside.

The weight of the world slowly crushing me.

Do you see me smile when we pass by?

I do not want you to worry

but I want to tell you my anguish.

I am anxious of life outside.

I do not feel prepared, yet it is just around the corner.

I wish there was an answer to my ordeal but life does not play that game.

I will just have to press foreword and find a way.

Just an average with a passion for poetry. Nothing really special.
