Under the Rainbow
Dreaming under the rainbow
Crash from the high
There’s a tear upon your face
But do you remember why you cried?
Dreaming under the rainbow
Where are you?
You promised that you’d stay with me,
But was that the truth?
One day I cried upon the moon
Dozed off where waves were crashing soon
Where happiness shatters like the blackest heart
Trapped inside a mini mart
That’s where I found you
Dreaming under the rainbow
Blackbirds cry
Begging someone to save them
Watch as the time goes by
If everything I love must die
Under the rainbow, where they lie
Then why can’t I?

I'm a Grad student now studying Biochemistry and Biophysics (not sure how I got there). I guess I've been using this site for nearly 8 years now though sometimes I went years without writing much of anything. I write what I feel and I write what I need to let go of. Sometimes I write about a dream or a nightmare I had, If I can tell the difference. I fell in love for poetry in high school and continued to write in college.
