Under The Sea

The sea was friendly to most, It never tried to brag or boast. But if you angered the sea, a hideous outcast, you would be. The trick was to be the same, always blending in, was the game. The sea is my father, my mother, my friends, and me. The sea was my life, my love, my character, and happy. Then, one day I upset them all. I found a girl, and they saw me fall. I fell for her like waves on a beach. Fast and swift, we danced on our feet. The sea could not accept our love. The sea sent us to live above. We left the life that we once new we left the sea, so cold and blue. Together we live, laugh, and love In our new home, a sea up above. Ariel and Erica, under the sea or miles apart Always connected, through water and heart.
