Under the Shade of the Walnut Tree

Under the shade of the walnut tree

I look at you, you look at me

Smelling the scent of the potpurri

Under the shade of the walnut tree

Under the shade of the walnut tree

I smile at you, you smile at me

Watching the buzzing honeybee

Under the shade of the walnut tree

Under the shade of the walnut tree

I laugh at you, you laugh at me

Cracking walnuts together we

Under the shade of the walnut tree

Under the shade of the walnut tree

I tickle you, you tickle me

Having our little jamboree

Under the shade of the walnut tree

Under the shade of the walnut tree

I lean on you, you lean on me

Dreaming our silent fantasies

Under the shade of the walnut tree
