Under the Willows

Sat, 03/12/2016 - 11:29 -- Jamesc

Whisper.

Whisper sweet child.

Whisper sweet child, and the darkness will not find your heart.

We hide under the weeping willow and smile because we have to.

Don't think for a second that you can hide behind a smile.

Quiet.

Quiet my darling.

Quiet my darling, and all will be well.

My love for you transcends the branches of our prison.

Don't think that a kiss is the key to our freedom.

Hush.

Hush sweet child.

Hush sweet child, and wait for the morning to come.

The sun is our saving grace in this hour of need.

No candle can mimic its absolute beauty.

So turn out the light.

And whisper sweet child.

Quiet my darling.

And hush sweet child.

Hush.
