The Underappreciated

We take it forgranted, yet we can't live without it.

It plans our day and creates our future,

giving us motivation to keep on moving,

yet we don't give it a moment.

Some people don't have it as well off as others,

yet they still keep going knowing that they're lucky it even bothers.

While some people dedicate a life to studying it,

others dedicate a life to slowly destroying it.

A brain is not to be thought of lightly;

It gives us a chance to live and learn,

to soar and love.

Although the truth may be that we can't live without it,

some of us hardly appreciate enough about it.
