Underlying Hope

Hope contains a longing for something better to come.
A feeling of belonging where you no longer have to hide from
The fears that you've been living, continuously every day,
You want to start forgiving, but the hurts already underway.

They say that love is everlasting, but that nothing lasts forever;
Such sayings so contrasting, oh how words can be so clever.
Yet if only love was proven to continue day and night,
Such a saying could be woven into a meaning that was right.

Bravery highlights how your confidence can shine,
Enabling your dreams to enlarge and define,
That when freedom collides with the willingness of the soul,
Your dreams and reality combine to make a whole.
And while although at first you're resistent to the change,
And conjuring a new adventure can leave the heart feeling strange,
The result which you recieve in itself is enough,
Because you took on the challenge even though it was tough.

Strength will keep you going when all has been vanished from view;
You just have to keep on knowing that other poeple suffer too.
Persistently follow a meaning, one that will never die.
Something to keep you believing, something on which you can rely.

To be honest is a treasure, one rarest to be found,
For it seems the generations have allowed it to be drowned.
Yet how is the mind so eaily, unconsciously decieved,
By that words that others ever so sly will speak?
Only then for thoughts so secretly kept to be realeased,
Tell me how humans compel such a witty technique?
