Underneath it All

I am...

I am what?

That seems to be the question everyone can ask

And no one can answer.

Sometimes I'd say I'm nothing,

But ask me tomorrow and my answer may be different.

I am the girl that smiles in the light,

But cries in the dark.

I am one who has failed

And I am one who has succeeded.

I have laughed,

I have cried,

I have laughed until I cried.

I am someone who falls

And someone who gets back up.

I am the one who prays

For the strength to go on.

I am emotional.

I am a loose cannon.

I am imaginative.

But through it all

I am undeniably

Uncontrollably

Wholeheartedly

Me
