Underneath This Masquerade

I try, and Fail. the Failure hurts. No more than the cuts. You don't know. I won't let you see, Underneath this cloth, The pain you've caused me. Up and down the canvas, The words are yours to write, You choose to walk away, I say, "that's alright" But under this facade, I cry and cry each night, You were never mine, So why do i fight? I Masquerade as your friend To bad you'll never see, I'll love much, much more, So much more than he. You have to understand, To see my point of view, I'll wait very patiently, At the back of that queue. This illusion has to end, It isn't healthy for me And never was for you.
