Understand Me

I have no desire.

I don't want to laze about,

Resting quietly in the dark

watching my life play out.

Dripping pain in each stride

a puddle left in my wake.

Trudging through the blankness

searching for something to stake

my life upon and shake the very existence that is me.

First poem. Off the top of my head to. I prefer it this way. Rough, unfiltered, true.
