Understanding
"Today is the day where I start to realize
The definition on being wise
The difference between a truth and a lie
And how fast time flies
To look deeper in what a person had to bring
And let people's opinion sing
To the ear
Pushing away fear
Whipping away the tears
And take the time to understand their message till it seems clear.
A woman who stands strong
Who has portrayed this image along
has that right to feel a deep sensitivity
Even though At times people tend to doubt her capability
As the stars begin to shine
She Lays back with a glass of wine
Her hopes and dreams
So far away it seems
But the light beams
And also gleams
Till you look into the eyes of a person has cried pain
You will understand why the tears fell like rain
and writes the message in her rhymes to not be trapped in a chain
And in hopes for others to say "inspiration is gained"
In the heart of the woman that you see
Is pure within thee
it's the complex feeling that she begins to feel
That one thing that she likes to call real
Some might understand the message that lies within the rhyme
If you don't its only a matter of time
As you go for yours and i go for mine
It's you who shines
It's not easy
It's harder than looks
Strength and dignity is some of the things it took
For a person like me to push away the bad
