Understanding

Alas will you look at me
Hence forth it shall be
A proclamation of such beauty.

We watch as the stars fall from the sky.
You hold me as a tear drops from mine eye
as we gaze at the flutters of many a butterfly.

On the golden wings of the sunrise
I sit and ponder, watch and surmise.
But what is hidden from me are your lies.

And I say let the devil take you into his abyss
As a snake rises up and bites you with a fiery hiss.
Now freedom I do taste and so it is bliss.
