Understanding

I still don't understand Understanding is the beginning Understanding can be the end To understand me you underestimate me Understanding is the doorway The window you can climb out The wind in my hair Watching you walk away over there Words spoken through your touch you can Heal steal or feel me Understanding is what I pray for on a day like today Broken polished and put away I still don't understand your understanding If words push you away what happens when the vultures play Upon my family that I strive to protect Will you walk away into another day!!
