Underwater

My hands are underwater

I am in a never ending storm.

It erases

fingerprints.

No one will know

Who i am.Who i was.

I don’t recall who I used to be.

How can they say the past doesn’t define you

When the past,

It built you like a lego house.

Mine,

Destroyed.

My home.

Suppose to be safe

Where I learned what

survival was.

The darkness,the fittest,

It consumed me and

It consumed the laughs

I used to hear. Those laughs

when i was 7.

In my hands,

Dark .I see through with holes.

Never ready

For the punches thrown

When they were 11.I never trained,

never taught to deal with the unstoppable.

Nor the unfaithful.

Only trained by a father

Love was only her father

Mother,

was too busy blaming, not watching blooming.

Not watching

me grow.
