undescribable

the calm before the storm,

the break before the dawn,

silence before the crash bellows,

calm, silent, waves on shores,

washing up, washing away.

a pen to paper,

etching a new secret,

with each story something different to tell,

how life was or would be,

could have been, or will be,

thoughts swirling, minds swimming,

searching for the answer they crave,

get it all down on paper, get it all out,

haunting every step they take,

and they'll never make it out.
