"Undeserving"
“Undeserving”
It’s the air that we breath
The ground underneath
Our feet, the lips
That we use, to speak
It’s the grass on the ground
Our hearts that pound
So diligently, the eyes
That we use, to see
It’s the sun and the moon
Placed just so,
So that we could grow
serve and sow
It’s the ocean so vast
The ability to think fast
The birds in the sky
Each second that goes by
It’s the friends that you meet
The shoes on your feet
The clothes on your back
That awesome soundtrack
It’s the car that you drive
The ability to be alive
It’s the food on your plate
The ability to create
It’s the pillow you sleep on
Every single proton,
that is, designed so perfectly
It’s like it happened intentionally
It’s all of these things
And so much more
All of it undeserved
But what for?
To bring glory to the name
The name above all others
Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
The One who was the sacrifice
The One who lived a perfect life and then gave himself up, so we could have a bond
At the same time saving us from sin past present and beyond
Death couldn’t stop Him
For He rose from the grave, After three days,
Then ascended into heaven, in a beautiful display...
And you should know that it’s never too late, to change your ultimate fate
Call on the Son of God’s name
The One without blame
He will transform your heart from the inside out, yes, without a doubt
He will help you fight each battle
He never gets rattled
He was, is, and will always be
He will never flee
Just place your trust in Him
And your new life will begin
You see, Everything is a gift
A gift of God’s Grace
So let us worship the God
Who saved us from despair
Let us serve Him proudly
Mightily and bravely
Let us shout His name
Boldly and courageously
Let us be grateful for the one
Who sacrificed it all
Bringing honor to His name
Wherever we are called
Praise be to the Father
From whom all blessings flow
Who gives us every good gift
The One who loves us so
