Undone
Stuck in a world of lacking innocence
Where nothing proves to make much sense
In a world where ignorance is bliss, and this, we'll take to our graves in silence
As we engrave the spirits in our hearts... on every tombstone there's a story...
it'll tell you its story, every step you take no matter how gory.
And in this world of lacking innocence, where all the sense we had is buried
deep, deep in a hole where no one can make a peep
Where are we? Where have we been? in this life of anguish and sin, we see...
It all unfold before our eyes..and it's not much of a surprise, can we recognize
the truth? Can we see the world in which we live where there is nothing left to
gain or give, this world.
Lost in the brokenness of something that cannot be called our own, lost in the pit
we call our own personal hell...don't tell.
And as we reach the end of our rope, we hope for a change. Though we'll never
see one. And the last word we hear : "undone"
We've forgotten the sun in our dark midnight days, what a craze we call it.
We call it undone.
And we can't see the breath we take away, we can't see our path or our way to
sanity, what a humanity we call home...
What a humanity.
